About Me
I am the proud principal of Highland Elementary School! Prior to Highland, I taught science at SVHS and coached boys baseball. My wife, Laura, and our two daughters (Lily-6 and Ruthie-9) live in Rockford, IL. My B.S. is from Olivet Nazarene University. I have my M.A.T. from Rockford University, my MSEd from Western Illinois University and am finishing my Ed.Doc. at Western Illinois University, focusing on the impact that Leader in Me has had on elementary school culture during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have loved being a part of our Meridian family over the past 10 years and look forward to more.
